The ticket dispenser user is determined by the ticket type required. Two options of ticket types are offered, Visual Card or Magnetic Paper Ticket. The visual card is reusable almost 10,000 times. All of the parking information is visible on the visual window of the card. Magnetic Paper Tickets have a low maintenance cost and reliable operation.

The Parkman Automatic Exit Paystaion performs the same functions as the standard automatic paystation. This unit is designed however to be used on the exit. This is ideal for car parks that do not have a fast throughput rate as it saves the cost of an exit verifier.

Validated tickets are inserted into the Verifier on exit. The verifier automatically reads encoded data on the ticket and opens the barrier gate. Unacceptible tickets are either returned to the user or deposited into a vault, the status is displayed on the visual display.

Many other License Plate Recognition Systems are suitable for traffic control, but not suitable for parking control. Unlike other systems, the Prkman LPR system is designed for parking access and security control. The LPR cameras are integrated with the other elements of the system including entry & exit terminals and the central management suite. For example, in the case of a lost ticket the system can quickly compare the registration with the list of the stored values in the central management database.
